In line with its global science diplomacy vision, Yıldız Technical University hosted South Africa's Deputy Minister of Higher Education Dr. Nomusa Dube-Ncube and the accompanying delegation at Davutpaşa Campus. The meeting targeted the strengthening of academic bridges between the two countries, with cooperation opportunities in higher education strategies, joint research projects, and student exchange programmes evaluated in detail.

One Book One Dream:2,000 Book Library Project

YTU GEMDEK and YTU SOS joined forces to launch a great solidarity movement aiming to touch children's dreams and multiply their hopes. The two clubs united on 10 November to bring a brand new library to a secondary school in Ankara. The teams, setting out with the motto “Every book you share is a child's dream”,conducted a major donation campaign of 2,000 books, with book donation points established at YTU Davutpaşa and Yıldız Campuses.

YTU ranked first among universities sending the most students abroad within the scope of international exchange programmes in Turkey — came together with prospective students during 'Information Days.' Throughout the event, the university's leading position in learning and internship mobility was emphasised, with opportunities for experiencing different cultures, gaining foreign language competency, and acquiring a global academic vision detailed to prospective applicants.
