YTU Students Gain Insight into Pharmaceutical Manufacturing at Birgi Mefar Group

YTU students had the opportunity to visit Birgi Mefar Group, one of Türkiye’s pioneering companies in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing. The program allowed participants to observe sterile injectable drug production and primary glass packaging processes first-hand, while also learning about the company’s more than fifty years of expertise in the health sector. The visit enriched students’ understanding of pharmaceutical technologies and quality standards, providing valuable insight into how innovation, safety, and regulatory compliance intersect in the production of critical medicines.
